Maybe mom will bake us a cake.

Well, I think we should do a giveaway of a bunch of surprises.

I will pick a winner to get a fun gift in the mail.

Let’s pick two so I can pick one as well.

Okay, sounds good to me.

Good luck everyone! Oh, and we also want to give a huge shout out to our special friends in St.

Louis who sent us some stickers of our logo.

Thanks guys! Now let’s get into our Bible reading for today.

Mark 4, 24.

And he said to them, take heed what you hear.

The measure you give will be the measure you get and still more will be given to you.

Saint Therese of Lisieux was known for her little way.

You don’t need to do big things to show your love for God.

You can show your love in little everyday ways.

Ways you can do this is to focus on easy things we can do on a normal basis.

A kind word, a smile, or small chores, but doing it with great love.

Scattering flowers was used by Saint Therese for never letting a single sacrifice, glance, or word pass without doing it with love.

We can try to find sacrifices in daily life, such as not complaining, serving others quietly, or being patient.

These can all be opportunities to show God’s love.

You don’t need to do big heroic things to be holy and close to Jesus.

Letting your lamp shine in your little way, doing small things with great love.

If you trust that God’s measure, like in today’s reflection verse, you will do great.

Today’s Saint of the Day is Servant of God, Brother Juniper.

His birth is unknown, but he died in the year 1256.

He is the patron saint of Italy, and he is one of the original followers of Saint Francis of Assisi.

When Brother Juniper looked at his clothing, he didn’t think, I like this color, or I would love to have three more of these.

He just thought about people who needed help and the ways he could give his clothing away.

On many days, Brother Juniper left his church and returned without a coat.

When the priest was in charge of Brother Juniper, asked where his coat was.

Brother Juniper simply replied, I gave it away.

This happened so frequently that the priest told Brother Juniper that he needed to start keeping his cloaks and tunics.

But Brother Juniper still didn’t prevent anyone from just taking them.

Even though he didn’t bother keeping his tracks of cloaks, he knew that he was clothed with religious.

We need to be humble and let God’s love work through us.

We can do little things like help set the table, share our toys, listen when our parents are talking.

When you do these things, like making your bed, think, I’m doing this for Jesus.

When you do another math problem or homework, think, I’m doing this for Jesus.

Saint Therese says we shouldn’t get discouraged but keep trusting in God.

Holiness can be found in every moment, showing God’s love through work and actions.

All it takes is doing small things with love for God.

Servant of God, Brother Juniper, would give almost anything away, even things that the other priests considered very important.

We too should give away things that are very important to people who need it most.

Let’s pray.

In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Dear God, whenever I do something, help me to have a humble heart because I’m doing it for you.

And help us to be messengers of light and hope.

Brother Juniper, pray for us.

Amen.

In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Thank you so much for listening.

We’ll be back tomorrow scattering more flowers.

See ya!
