Hello everyone! Welcome back! My name is Elise Brooklynn and this is Scattering Flowers, a podcast where we scatter flowers of faith.
Today is Friday, April 26th, and we will be reading John 14, 1-6.
Follow along in your Bible if you have one.
Now, let’s read John 14, 1-6.
Let not your hearts be troubled.
Believe in God.
Believe also in Me.
In My Father’s house there are many rooms.
If it were not so, would I have told you that I were to go prepare a place for you?
And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to Myself.
And where I am you may also be, and you know the way where I am going.
Thomas said to him, Lord, we do not know where you are going.
How can we know the way?
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father but by Me.
There are three P’s I thought about after reading this scripture.
Person, place, and promise.
Try to say that three times fast.
Person, place, promise.
Person, place, promise.
Person, place, promise.
The person is Jesus.
We’ll leave in the place His Father’s home, and the promise He will come and get us.
Let’s pray.
In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus, Jesus, thank you for being our person with a plan.
Someday I will spend forever with you in Heaven.
Thank you for that promise.
Amen.
In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
Thank you so much for listening.
I’ll be back on Monday scattering more flowers.
See ya!
