10. Thursday, April 25 2024

Hello everyone, welcome back.

My name is Elise Brooklyn and this is Scattering Flowers, a podcast where we scatter flowers of faith.

Today is Thursday, April 25th and we will be reading Mark 16, 15-20.

Follow along in your Bible if you have one.

Now let’s read Mark 16, 15-20.

And he said to them, go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation.

He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned.

And these signs will accompany those who believe.

In my name they will cast out demons, they will speak in new tongues, they will pick up serpents and they will drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them.

They will lay their hands on the sick and they will recover.

So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God, and they went forth and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by the signs that attended to it.

Jesus left the disciples telling them to go and proclaim the gospel to every creation.

We are still to follow this.

An easy way I can do this is to try every day to show His love by being a nice and loving person.

It’s good to bless people in the world that God made and gave us.

Let’s pray.

In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, thank you for being an example of how to love and expect others.

Help me to keep showing how much you love people.

Amen.

In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, amen.

Thank you so much for listening.

I’ll be back tomorrow scattering more flowers.

See ya!
