Today is Tuesday, April 16th, and we will be reading John 6, 30-35.
Follow along in your Bible if you have one.
Now, let’s read John 6, 30-35.
A couple of weeks ago, my house had 12 people over for brunch.
Can you believe that?
I helped my mom prep tons of food.
It was crazy.
And as crazy as it was in our house, Jesus, two days in a row, was preaching to thousands more than we hosted.
The people wanted to be fed, but Jesus said He would serve true bread from heaven to fill our hearts.
We can have full stomachs, but without Jesus, we would have a different kind of hungry.
We would be hungry in our hearts.
It’s Jesus that makes going to Mass, praying, and reading our Bibles have meaning.
Let’s pray.
In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus, thank you for satisfying our hunger.
Help us to want to fill up with you.
You give us understanding of life.
Thank you.
In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
Thank you so much for listening.
I’ll be back tomorrow, scattering more flowers.
See ya! See ya!
